In today’s post, we want to share our stay and impressions at SICAM, the international trade fair for components, accessories and semi-finished products for the furniture industry in Italy.
Last October 17, 18, 19 and 20, the Sc Herrajes sales team joined thousands of industry professionals in Pordenone with the intention of meeting new market demands and introducing our latest products and finishes for handles, profiles and LED lighting.
Our booth was organized by oblique displays and an island with magnetized displays, with the product distributed in a coherent order of presentation according to style, design and finish.
This year we have placed great emphasis on introducing innovative and sustainable industrial processes, such as PVD bronze finishing, an environmentally friendly process that does not release chemicals into the air or generate toxic waste.
Thanks to physical vapor deposition (PVD), this finish has a greater hardness and resistance to wear and tear such as scratches or color fading, which translates into a more durable finish and shine. From Sc Herrajes we advocate to bring to the market high quality products that are ‘for life’, in addition to an innovative and timeless aesthetic. Bronze is a highly versatile and trendy color, which combines perfectly with a wide variety of colors and materials.
Of our most relevant products, the 861 profile and the 759 gola profile were the ones that caused the greatest impact and interest in our visitors. Their striated geometry breaks with the traditional smooth aesthetics and brings a new value to the design of the furniture. It is an innovative and different decorative profile that allows to incorporate in the 759, Led light to give a greater elegance and vision in space. Its exhibition in our central island captivated the spectators when they saw it illuminated and in action.
Also noteworthy is our selection of long handles, perfect for vertical kitchen cabinets or other types of cabinets. These handles bring a contemporary aesthetic to any piece of furniture and are designed to attract attention without dominating the space. The simplicity of the long lines is combined with functionality, making them a versatile choice for any type of space.
After four exciting days, we leave SICAM with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. We thank everyone who came to our booth and our great friends in the industry who shared this experience with us. We look forward to taking the inspiration and connections we gained at SICAM back to our daily work and continuing to raise the standard in design and quality.
